Marchant in company housing with Virginia's mother, Mary Morris, and nieces Fannie Grey Gianniny (21) and Mary Matilda Gianniny (22) who worked in the mill. James and Virginia Starkes purchased their lot in 1886, and built the house at 1604 Woolen Mills Road in 1890. |
