Woolen Mills “loom-fixer” John Drumheller lived in 1619 Woolen Mills Road. His wife, Alice was born in England. Her place of origin is notable as the majority of Woolen Mills residents were born on Woolen Mills Road. The Drumhellers had six children, ranging in age from 5 to 24. One of three sons, Arthur, began his work life in the spinning department of the mill, but 1920 finds him and his brother Sidney working for the railroad.
